Whole30 is rough when you are not sleeping:(. Apparently there is such a thing as an 18 month sleep regression. My son is waking up at 11pm, 2pm, 4pm and then staying awake!!! I am SO tired.
The good news is the cold weather seems to be breaking and I am going to force myself to take advantage of it and sneak a run into my workout somehow. Eggs continue to be my go to for breakfast since they are quick and easy. I should probably work in more green veggies, I seem to have an affinity for orange veggies. I think it is because carrots and sweet potatoes are sweeter and I am having issues kicking my sweet tooth. I saw a picture of a doughnut and I was literally drooling.
I was lame and didn’t eat a proper dinner today. I just had a smoothie which I guzzled down so fast I forgot to take a picture and half of the banana my son didn’t eat. As you can see from my Macro chart below my carbs are extremely high today. Tomorrow will be better
It was beautiful outside! Every time spring arrives I feel like I somehow survived some bleak cold journey through winter. I usually start to get a little depressed from lack of daylight and the cold makes it hard for me to get motivated to workout. I think maybe I was a bear in a past life…
I also have really bad allergies to pollen, therefore spring is a little bittersweet for me. However, I decided I needed to work on my cardio endurance as well as my leg strength so this is the workout I did:
