Yucky, rainy day. I’m feeling great though! I think my body is started to accept that this is the type of food it’s going to get and start to function a little more normally. I honestly think it’ll take several month of eating clean to help me shed some of my stress weight. I call it stress weight because it’s the spare tire around my middle section and I’m pretty sure that is where my hormones tell my body to store fat when I’m stressed out (which is a lot). I’m working on being less stressed. Keeping busy helps. I took up knitting. One of my lovely coworkers taught me how to knit during a lunch break. I’m obviously still a novice, but I am really happy with how this Infinity Scarf is turning out. Too bad I won’t get to wear it till next winter. I will try to make a hat next and I want to eventually make a sweater and even socks, haha.
I also think my body loses weight from my extremities inward. So my face and arms start to lean out before my mid-section. I’m just going to keep at it. One of the great things about Whole30 and Crossfit combined are the two make you stronger, mentally and physically. When I’m feeling healthy and strong I really am not as worried about my middle section.
Ahhhh, I forgot to take a picture. I think that was because I ate my dinner sporadically over the span of a few hours while chasing my son around. I literally stood up and ate the leftover chicken right out of the tupperware. We have been giving my son a smoothie right before bed every night in an attempt to fill him up so he doesn’t wake up hungry. It seems to be working. I made a big smoothie and then filled up his little straw sippy cup and drank the rest myself.
It was kind of gross and rainy out all day. I wanted to take my son out for a jog, but I ended up grocery shopping and cooking all day long.
